We are a robotics team from Centennial High School
in St. Paul, Minnesota. We participate in the FIRST Robotics
Competition, in which we have six weeks to build a robot with real-world
mechanical and electrical parts. The robot is designed to play in
a
competitive game with other teams at regional competitions. The 2008
season (2007-2008 school year) was our first year in this competition.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization that runs multiple robotics competitions for various student ages. They strive to inspire kids in the fields of science, technology, and engineering.
